Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
JAMES 1:2-3 NASB
Just wanted to let you know….😁
God does not allow us to walk in situations that challenge us so that we can handle them. He does so in order for us to see Him handle them and also for us to get to know Him in the midst of them.
How would our faith and trust in Him grow if we were able to do it all in our own strength, wisdom and the might of man? How would He get the glory? How could we rejoice, sing and be totally amazed if we controlled the outcome?
It’s probably gonna get messy and uncomfortable. It may pull at our last ounce of ability and sanity. It may feel as though what you’re asked to undertake stretches you to the limit (that you know). 😉
God doesn’t ‘prove Himself strong’ in calm seas and easy situations. There have got to be walls, giants, uncertainty, sacrifice, walking in crazy obedience and resting in the midst of the storm.
I’d like to think that when Peter recounted walking on water, even though he did begin to sink, that he thought it was a most awesome experience.🎉
So rest today knowing that He who promised is faithful and has a solution. That He’s right there even when we don’t see Him. That steps taken in obedience, even though seeming illogical to us, take us where He wants us to be. That He is the master planner and strategist and we don’t need to know how He does it.
All we need to know is that it will be good.👍
